Great B&W Movies

Anybody have a favorite black-and-white movie? Some of mine are very different films: Kurosawa's fabulous Seven Samurai, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre with Humphrey Bogart, Young Frankenstein, Woody Allen's Manhattan, To Kill A Mockingbird, and Jean Cocteau's strange La Belle et la bĂȘte (Beauty and the Beast) from 1946. Seems to me I'm forgetting some horror classics, westerns, and a lot of great film noire....

Anybody got any nominations?

UPDATE: People sure did have nominations! (Note the number of comments.) See the list of all the films mentioned in the comments here (and there are a few more mentioned in the comments to that post).
